Emily Bigman writes and performs sketch comedy, acts, and sings — soprano-alto, plays 13–18. She's a core member of Egg Salad Sketch, performing original work at The Peoples Improv Theater in New York City, which is either very impressive or deeply concerning for a high schooler, depending on who you ask.

She came up through some of New York's most rigorous training programs, studying Meisner technique at the Neighborhood Playhouse Junior School, movement and scene work at the SUNY Purchase Precollege Performing Arts Institute, and sketch comedy writing and performance at Fair Playhouse under the mentorship of Molly O'Steen. She's also a theater kid at The Harvey School in Katonah, NY, where she won the Middle School Theater Award in 2024 and has played Dorothy, Alice, and Pinocchio — sometimes in the same week, emotionally speaking.

When she's not writing sketches or running track, she's making up weird musicals about everything, practicing accents (Eastern European, British RP), and caring for small children and animals that don't bite. Her cat is unimpressed.
